AbettaCare provides our travel nurses a premium health and dental plan which allows you to
feel secure while on assignment. Our national health care provider, CIGNA offers
the ease of accessing their account securely online from any where in the
country. This freedom allows you to review your current coverage, print ID cards,
find doctors in your area, and review your claim history. For those of you who do
not have internet access, our healthcare provider is accessible 24 hours a day
via their toll free number at (800) 244-6224.
Eligibility
Our Travel Nurses become eligible on the 1st of the month following
their date of hire. No matter when you end your travel nursing assignment during a given month, your
health insurance coverage will remain in effect until the end of the month in
which you end your assignment.
Free Of Charge
AbettaCare pays 100% of the medical and dental premiums for "you", the employee, while
offering great ease to add additional family members if you so choose.

Health - HMO, POS, PPO, Indemnity, & Open Access
Dental - PPO & HMO
Flexibility
Travel nurses have the flexibility to take up to one month off in between
assignments without losing your coverage.
COBRA
AbettaCare offers you the option to continue your health and dental benefits through
COBRA once your employment status becomes inactive. COBRA can remain in effect up to 18 months once activated.
